I hate them. They're a weakness. I automatically smile when presented with flowers, and I get giddy with joy when I see a dog. The fluffier the dog, the more joyous I become. The more unexpected the flowers, the happier I feel. And then people use it against me. And I can't help but smile. :(

On Flowers and Dogs
I hate them. They're a weakness. I automatically smile when presented with flowers, and I get giddy with joy when I see a dog. The fluffier the dog, the more joyous I become. The more unexpected the flowers, the happier I feel. And then people use it against me. And I can't help but smile. :(

I actually do not like flowers either, but because I think they're a cheap way to be "thoughtful" without actually being thoughtful. There are other things that I would appreciate much more. Basically one time an ex tried to get me back by giving me flowers and I was really annoyed because I dated this guy for 2 years and he never gave me flowers, why would I want flowers? I think he was just getting desperate.

Haha yeah. This post of mine is fully of silly contradictions because I actually love flowers and dogs (as you say fluffy dogs ALWAYS work, haha)... I just hate the power they hold over me. Boo weaknesses haha.
ReplyDeleteBut I agree with the flower thing/your ex - if he never gave you flowers while you were dating, giving you flowers to get you back is a cheap move...
